CTMH Wild & Punny and Sunny Studios Tropical Scenes Card

I have been wanting to use my Wild & Punny sloth stamp so yesterday I made most of the card and finished it up today. I love the Sunny Studios Tropical Scenes stamp set and have not used the jungle scene till this card. It is so easy to use with the matching dies.

Sunny Studios Best Fishes and Fabulous Flamingo Slim Card

I am so excited because it's my hubby's birthday soon and I wanted to make an extra special card for him. I made a sunrise card to try a new technique for me. I used a circle die cut and used the punched cardstock to make the sun and used circle to mask the sun. I decided to try making a slim card for the first time. The dimensions of the finished card is 8 1/2 in by 4 1/4 in. I cut a piece of Pixie cardstock 8 1/2 in.  by 8 1/2 in. I scored the cardstock at 4 1/4 in. It will mail in a legal size envelope.

CTMH Garden Tags Card

I made this card to use my new stamp set of the month CTMH Garden Tags unfortunately it does not come with a die set for the flowers. I fussy cut all the tag flowers and, single flower and the butterfly. It was a lot of work but I love how it turned out.

Sunny Studios Best Fishes Card

I made this card for my daughter's birthday. It is a Double Z card that I made per Jennifer McQuire's video https://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2018/10/double-z-fold-cards-giveaway.html .To create the background I used three colors of distress ink using a Crafting Ink blending brush ans sprinkled water on it.  I made mine glued flat to the background because I had dimensional fish. I am sure she will love this card because she loves nautical things.

I thought my first Father's Day card was plain so I made him another. I used Distress Ink to make the sky ocean background and I then used a cloud stencil to make the sky. I used a wave embossing folder on the lower half of the background.

CTMH Hummingbird Card

I just got this stamp set and couldn't wait to try it out. I colored the bird like a ruby throated hummingbird. I paper pieced the flowers and added clear shimmer brush to the hummingbird, flowers and the leaves. I added mint shimmer brush to the sentiment.

I love this stamp set because it is so Floridian. The card does not show that I paper pieced the head and wing. I also used CTMH Clear Shimmer Brush on the water. I got the idea of the shallow water technique after seeing this video by Sandy Allnock:

Sunny Studios Hawaiian Hibiscus Card

I have always wanted to try layering stamps. It took a couple of tries before I figured how to make the flowers. The trick is to start with the lightest colors first and the dark shade last. I grew up in southern Florida and as a kid I wore the hibiscus flower behind my ear and did the hula. The card does not show the clear shimmer on the flowers and leaves which really adds to the card.

CTMH Woodland Greetings Mirror Image Card

I was playing around with mirror imaging and finally got it down pat. Can you tell which was the mirror image? The left one is the mirror image. I wanted to make a masculine card because I have  made so few.

CTMH Wild & Punny Card 

I finally had time to use my CTMH Wild & Punny stamp set. I wanted to make diagonal stripes inside my CTMH Diagonal Embossing Folder but I cut my cardstock strips too wide. I cut them at 1/2 in. which is a tad too wide for the embossing folder to show through. I still think it came out nice.
