Gina K Winter Wishes Card

I made this card for the October 2022 Gina K Monthly Mix Challenge. We had to make a monochromic card with a twist, but most of the card must be white with one other color. I chose black as my other color. First, I embossed the white cardstock with Snow Flake Embossing Folder. The center of the card was cut out with an oval stitched die and an oval die. The oval was glued around the oval opening. Doubled sided foam was used to hold the white cardstock and card base together. The sentiment was stamped with Black Onyx ink. I used a small Frozen Rhinestone for the center of the snowflake. Next, I die cut three trees and a house out of white paper and glued them to the bottom of the oval.

I made this whimsical card for my grandchildren in Washington because they love to garden. First, I embossed the Gingham embossing folder in Sweet Mango cardstock. The scarecrow and pumpkins were stamped in Black Onyx, colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut. The background was Water Droplet Stencil using Sweet Mango and Blue Denim blend with brushes. I matted them with Blue Denim cardstock. The sentiments were stamped with Black Onyx ink.
