Gina K Happy Flowers Card

I made this card for the Gina K December 2021 monthly design challenge. We had to use the ink blending technique. I used an antistatic pad to remove all finger prints and embossed the stamp with clear gloss embossing powder over White Pigment Ink. I heated it up with my heat gun till shiny. I used four colors of Gina K ink on my card Innocent Pink. Dusty Mauve, Bubble Gum Pink and Passionate Pink. I used my Gina K mini brushes to apply the ink and blended the pinks together on the card. I stamped the sentiment from Love is all You need with Dusty Rose on white cardstock and the base card is also Dusty Rose cardstock. I finished with some pink rhinestones for some bling.

I made this 5" by 7" card for my daughter and her husband for Christmas. I used the Black Magic technique by stamping the images with White Pigment ink. I colored the stamped images using Prismacolor Pencils. I used the Master Layout 1 dies for the sentiment stamped in Black Onyx. I finished the card with Disco Balls sequins for bling. The sentiment was popped up on the card.

To make this card card I used:

I wanted to try a nontraditional color for my flower. I started layering with Sea Glass, then blue Lagoon, Tranquil Teal and leaf vein with Black Onyx. I colored the snowflake die with Sea Glass and Tranquil Teal randomly. The pine leaves were inked with Christmas Pine. I added some bling with small and large Disco Balls.

I made this card for my husband for our 32nd Anniversary. We have been together a total of 34 wonderful years and still so in love. I used stripes from In the navy and white cardstock to cut from Pinkfresh Color Block Stripes cover plate die and glued them horizontally on the card base. I scored white white card stock every 1/2 with my Score Buddy. I then took In the Navy ink and lightly dragged it own the paper to make faux wood. I used Doubled Stitched Rectangle Die and cut white cardstock for the sentiment and the anchor. I finished with navy enamel dots.

This card is my second entry in the November 2021 Gina K Monthly Challenge. We had to add critters to the card. I used the bees from Beautiful Bees stamp set. I embossed all the stamps using Black Onyx ink and clear embossing powder. I colored the images using Prismacolor Pencils using Gamsol with blending stumps. I ink Lovely Lavender over the Harvest Flourish stencil. I fussy cut all the stamped images and popped up the flower and the bees. I finished the card with silver glitter gems.

I made this card to enter into Gina K's November 2021 Challenge. We had to use critters so I used a bird. I used Master Layouts 8 to cut the mats. I used the Embossing Magic antistatic powder and stamped the Petite Flourish with Gina K Embossing Ink. I sprinkled white embossing powder and heated it with my heat gun. I used large blending brush to lightly use Powder Blue on the card to make an embossing resist card. I used Blue Raspberry around the edges. I stamped my sentiment with Black Onyx and heat set so it would not smear.  I stamped the nest with Warm Cocoa and Charcoal Brown. I then used a black Prismacolor pencil to put a shadow on the bottom. I stamped the bird in Black Onyx. and embossed it with embossing ink. I used clear embossing powder and heated it up. Bird was colored with Prismacolor Pencils using Gamsol with blending stumps. I added some blue enamel dots to finish the card.

I stamped the flower with Obsidian Amalgam ink and colored with Prismacolor pencils using Gamsol with blending stumps. Sentiment stamped in Black Onyx and blue rhinestones for some bling.

I made this card for the Gina K October 2021 Fall smooshed card challenge. I used three colors of ink Gina K Prickly Pear, Tomato Soup and Faded Brick. I daubed my ink pad on a glass surface and watered it down with a spritz of water. I randomly laid my card in different areas with all three colors of ink. I stamped the leaves in Charcoal Brown ink and colored them with Prismacolor pencils using Gasol with a blending stump. The leaf stamp had three leaves so I fussy cut all of the leaves to separate them. I used Master Layouts 2 Dies for the layers of the card. The sentiment was stamped in Charcoal Brown on white cardstock and I used Charcoal Brown cardstock.

After choosing my sentiment I made a blizzard of the snowflakes. I first stamped my snowflakes with Black Onyx ink. I then copied it using my laser printer. Laser printers use toner which when heated in a laminator it melts and the foil will stick to it. I used Gina K Sparkling Silver Foil and ran it through the laminating machine. I fussy cut all the snowflakes and glued the on the out side edge of the first mat. I cut off all the snowflake parts that hung over the edge.  I used Master Layouts 8 Dies to make the 5 x 7card.

After watching Gina K's Video on Kraft Poinsettias I made this card. I do not have the Mega Wreath Builder Template so I modified my card. I stamped the large leaf with Skeleton Leaves Amalgam ink on white cardstock. The next two small leaves I stamped with Jelly Bean Green and the last vein stamp with Fresh Asparagus ink. The center dots were stamped in Black Onyx.  Fresh Asparagus in was used on the pine sprig. Skelton Leaves Amalgam was used on the center sprigs. Lastly the large leaf vein was stamped in Dark Chocolate ink. For the  sentiment I used Black onyx ink. I used a Signo White Gel Pen for the dots on the sprigs. I made a banner using Fresh Asparagus, Dark Chocolate and Skeleton Leaves Amalgam ink dragged down the paper. I finished with some bling by adding iridescent small and large rhinestones.

I made this card for one of my grandchildren for Halloween. The background is top to bottom Powder Blue, In the Navy, Wild Lilac and Black Onyx. I die cut the moon and used Iridescent Glitz Glitter Gel. I foiled the hat with Glittering Green and Dazzling Orange using the Candy Cane Clear Toner sheet. For the fire I die cut a beard out Dazzling Orange and trimmed it down to fit the pot which is the gnome body die. I die cut the large branch with Warm Cocoa cardstock and sponge on Dark Cholate ink on the edges. I die cut the leaves and used Prickly Pear, Coral Reef and Red Hot ink on them. I used Grass Green ink sponged around the body of the gnome.  The beard is made with white flock paper. I added a die cut branch and white circles that I sponge on ark Chocolate ink.

I made this card for one of my grandchildren. I blended from top to bottom Powder Blue, In the Navy, Wild Lilac and Black Onyx ink for the background. I then splattered it with my Silver Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Pen. I die cut the spider web out of Deco Foil White Latte Flock Paper. I stamped the cat and spiders in Black Onyx and added wiggle googly eyes. The pumpkins were colored with Prismacolor Pencils with Gamsol using stumps. I added bling with the orange small rhinestones to make the cat collar and the large for the background.

I love the new Gina K September 2021 Joyful Holiday Kit. The poinsettia is a multilayer stamped flower and is very easy to align. I stamped the bottom layer with Coral Reef and the next layer with Red Velvet. Then I used Faded Brick for the inside layer and finished the veins with Black Onyx ink. For the back ground I used Star Stuck embossed with Red Velvet ink four times across the slimline background with clear embossing powder. I stamp the pine fronds with Christmas Pine ink and the other stems with Fresh Asparagus. I die cut the sentiment in black cardstock. I added some bling with Bitty  Sparkles and Holiday Green Sequins.

I made this card for the monthly October 2021 Gina K Challenge card. We had to make a fall themed card using the smooshing technique for the background. I used watercolor paper and smooshed the lightest to darkest color to smoosh on the paper. I used Prickly Pear, Honey Mustard, Faded Brick and Warm Cocoa inks spritzed with water and layered the colors randomly. I stamped the oak leaf in all four colors and cut them out. I then blended the ink color over the leaf to remove the white. I popped up the leaves with foam squares.

I love the new Gina K Forever stamp set. I got to use my new laminating machine with foil. I stamped the chicken wire circle and the three flowers on white cardstock and then made a copy on white cardstock so I would have toner for the foil to stick. I die cut the circle with Master Layouts. I used a mini blender brush and inked the flowers with Passionate Pink darker in the center and then fading out. I ran all of them through the laminator. I stamped the small background chicken wire stamp using tone on tone technique in Passionate Pink on Passionate Pink cardstock. I then stamped the stems with Black Onyx ink. I used Master Layouts 8 for the black scallop circle. I cut the background with Master Layout 2. I stamped the sentiments in Black Onyx ink on the flag from Master Layouts 5 and the Sentiment Strip Die. I popped up the flowers and the flag with foam squares.

I just got this stamp for Halloween cards for my five grandchildren. I first stamped my Ghost and greeting with Gina K Obsidian Amalgam ink. I made a circle mask using Gina K Masking Magic. I placed my mask where I wanted the moon and embossed with white embossing powder. Next I used my Gina K Blending brushes and started at the bottom with Gina K Powder Blue, In the Navy, Plum Punch and Black Onyx. I watered down the Gina K White Pigment Ink and splattered with a pint brush. I used Gina K Soft Stone to age the Gina K Fence Die. I popped up the ghosts and the greeting for depth. I finished with CTMH Silver Star Confetti.

I made this car for my wonderful husband to show him how much I love him. He is so kind to me and understanding. I stamped the flowers with Gina K Obsidian Amalgam and heat set the ink. I then colored the flower spray with Prismacolor Pencils using Gamsol with blending Stumps. I cut out the stamped image on my Brother's ScanNCut machine. I used Gina K Wild Asparagus ink using the Gina K Blending Brush on the Gina K Flourish Stencil. I stamped the  sentiment from Gina K A Little Love Mini. To finish I add magenta sequins using Gina K Connect Glue for some bling.

After seeing Jennifer McGuire's Window Edge Cards I made one similar to hers. I decided to use Gina K In the Navy ink and cardstock. I embossed the snowflake with Gina K Fine Detail Gold embossing power. I added iridescent rhinestones for added bling. I used my new Gina K layering stencil to make this card. I used my  new Gina K Mini mini blending brushes and they work so well for stenciling. I used Gina K's Lemon Drop, Sweet Mango, Coral Reef and Black Onyx inks to make the flowers and butterfly. I used Jelly Bean Green, Fresh Asparagus and Turquoise Sea on the larger leaves. For the small leaves I used Grass Green and Fresh Asparagus. The branches were inked with Warm Cocoa and Dark Chocolate. I used the Harvest Flourish in Lemon Drop for the background. I die cut the smile with Black Cardstock. Card layers are Black, Sweet Mango and Lemon Drop Cardstock. I finished the card with same orange rhinestones for some bling.

I love the sunflowers of this stamp set and decided to be bold and creative. I stamped the solid large sunflower in Peach Bellini and  the small one with Wild Dandelion. I used Chocolate Truffle Amalgam ink to the sunflowers and the branches. I stamp the solid leaves with Grass Green. I fussy cut all the stamps nd colored the  sunflower with Prismacolor Pencils using Gamsol and stumps. I popped up the sunflowers with foam squares and die cut the hello in Chocolate Truffle cardstock. I finished with some brown rhinestones for bling.

I made this card for my third and final entry into the Gina K July 2021 Christmas in July Challenge. I wanted to make a card with lots of bling for the holiday. I stamped my flower image in Obsidian Amalgam Ink. I colored the stamped image with Prismacolor Pencils using Gamsol and blending stump. I spattered the background with watered down Gina K Red Hot Ink. I stamped the sentiment with Gina K Black Onyx Ink and popped it up with foam squares. For the holiday cling I add yellow and red various size rhinestones.

I was trying a new technique I saw on Jeanie's Blog KrampaKreations where she showed how to emboss with a stencil. I embossed the Gina K Fizzy stencil with clear embossing powder and then used a blending brush with Gina K Blue Raspberry ink. I stamped the flowers and leaves in Gina K Obsidian /Amalgam ink and colored with Spectrum Noir Tri Blend Markers. I cut the images with my Brother ScanNCut machine. I used Today die cut & shadow and Master Layouts 3 for sentiment flag. I finished the card with pink rhinestones.

I made this card for the Gina K July2021 Christmas in July Challenge. I  decided to make the window die into a door. For the background I used a blender brush softly with Gina K Powder Blue ink. I stamped the pine trees with Christmas Pine and stamped the birds from Time to Coast Stamp set in Black Onyx. I them tapped my clear Wink of Stella Glitter Pens on the entire background to mimic snow. I then die cut the window die and attached acetate to the back. For the card base I used Sizzix 3D Brickwork Texture Fade Embossing Folder. I attached a brad in gray to the gray cardstock face plate for the doorknob. I finished with the sentiment stamped in Gina K Black Onyx ink and popped up the upper portion above my door.

I made this card for Gina K's July 2021 Christmas in July Challenge. I stamped three of the small poinsettias and colored them with Prismacolor pencils using Gamsol with a stump. I fussy cut and paper pieced the three flowers by cutting them in layers. I popped up all three layer with foam squares. I used Master Layouts 1 & 5 for the layers. I used the Gina K Harvest Flourish stencil with Fresh Asparagus Ink with a blending brush. I popped up the background layer with a rectangle of white Fun Foam to give the card more dimension. I  finished the card with black rhinestones.

I used my new Zig Clean Color Real Brush Colors for the first time on this card. I stamped the flower image with Versamark Pad and used gold embossing powder. I colored the flowers with two pink and two green Zig Brush Colors. I fussy cut the stamped image to fit the card. I added the color along the inner edges and used a wet paint brush to pull the color out to the edges. I used Thick Brush stencil with Jelly Bean Green ink. To finish I added small gold sequins to bring out the gold paper.

I made the is card for A Blog Named Hero Repeat Yourself Challenge. We had to use repetition in the card we enter. I choose to duplicate three dragonflies. I stamped the in black ink and embossed with Hero Arts Embossing Ink and clear embossing powder. I used Hero Arts Reactive Early Dawn Ink to color the wings. I finished the dragonflies by adding shimmer brush to the wings. I used Hero Arts Fishing Net Bold Print stamped with Hero Arts Contour ink. I finished the card by adding blue rhinestones. I used the net background to looked like the dragonflies were just caught.

After watching Gina K latest video on making a gray scale card I want to try it. The fun was using bubble wrap inked up and pressed on white cardstock. It came out amazing and was so easy to do. I did not make faux wood but used a new stamp set to make lumber. I stamped the images with black ink and heat set it. I used a black Prismacolor pencil and put a little on the base of the petals and then use Gamsol using a blending stump to spread the pencil to cover the whole petal. I popped up the flower and added black rhinestones to finish the card.

I wanted to try out my new stamp using Kraft Magic technique. I made the mistake of putting white pencil first so that when I used the purple pen it did not look good so I used Gamsol with a blending brush to fix my error. I call it Gamsol Magic on Kraft paper. I used a white gel pen to mimic mortar around the bricks. I finished with orange rhinestones for some bling.

I made this card for the Mod Squad Vellum Flower Challenge. I used the stained glass technique on vellum using alcohol markers to color the stamped embossed image of poppies. I had to let the markers colors dry and go over several times to get the vivid colors I wanted. I stenciled the background using Gina K Thick Brush Stencil with Gina K Soft Stone Ink. I made a bunch of moths and butterflies and finally making cards with them. I stamped the moth in black ink and then used clear gloss embossing power. I colored the moth with Prismacolor pencils using Gamsol and a stump. For the background I used a stencil with a blending brush. The sentiments were popped up with foam squares and the background with fun foam rectangle. I added some yellow rhinestones on the moth body and the card for some bling.

I love the butterflies of this stamp set so I tried several color combinations and different embossing powder. I love the tiny stars that I stamped for the background in Gina K Lemon Drop and Versamark pad using Wow Clear Sparkle. I wanted to pick up the color yellow in the butterfly. The butterfly was stamped with Black Onyx ink and Versamark and I used clear embossing powder.   I used watercolor paper and watercolor pencils to color the butterfly. I don't have the die for this set so I fussy cut the butterfly. I popped up the butterfly and sentiments to give depth to the card.

I got in the Gina K Master layouts 5 which includes a window die. I made another birthday card for my dear hubby as he is so good to me and his mother. Since my mother-in-law has a hard time to getting into our truck we have purchased a new car that I really wanted a Toyota Avalon. I am so excited and we had to order it so I don't know when we will get it. to make this card I stamped the lighthouse and then colored it with my Prismacolor Pencils using Gamsol with w stump. I used the pencils to make the water and the sunrise sky. I put an acetate sheet behind the window die and popped the die with thin foam tape. The background is a brick embossing folder and I finished the card by adding black rhinestones around the window to make it look nautical.

I made this card for my dear daughter's birthday. She love everything nautical and is always out on her boat fishing. I used the stamps from different Hero Arts to make this card. The background I used blending brushes using Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint sketch Distress Oxide inks. I spritz water mist on the background and damp it up with a paper towel. I then spread Distress Glaze on the background and wiped the excess off.  IT gives the ocean a shine to it. I stamped the color layering angelfish with Gina K Wild Dandelion and Blue Raspberry ink. I stamped all the other stamps with Gina K Obsidian Amalgam ink and heat set it. I used Prismacolor Pencils using Gamsol and stump. I have entered this card in Hero Arts Stay Crafty #24 For the Guys Challenge.
