Hero Arts Fun at the Lake Card

I never have made a card with so many silhouette figures on it. I really like how it turned out and was easy to stamp and die cut. To make the sky I masked off the bottom and I lightly blended the Tumbled Glass Oxide ink over the top. Next I used my homemade cloud stencil to finish up the clouds. For the lake water I blend two colors of Distress Oxide ink. I then splattered water droplets on the lake and wiped off the excess water.

To make this card I used:

Stamps:  All Hero Arts Fun at the Lake, Color Layering Pier at the Lake, Color Layering Mountains at the Lake and Color Layering Sea & Sky

Paper: CTMH White Daisy Cardstock and Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Cardstock

Ink: Versamark Onyx Black Ink, CTMH White Daisy Pigment Exclusive Ink, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers Oxide Ink

Accessories: Handmade Cloud Stencil and Pink & Main Blender Brush

Hero Arts Color Layering Octopus Cards

I just got texture paste and wanted to try it on a stencil. First I put ink down on craft mat and then added glob of texture paste next to each three inks with a plastic craft palette knife. I mixed the texture paste with the ink and played around with how dark I wanted to add more color which I did. I picked up individual colored texture paste and smooth it over the stencil. You must clean the palette knife when changing colors. I then used a texture pasted spreader to even out the paste on the cardstock. The photo does not show the raised dimension of the texture paste.

To make this card I used:

Stamps: Hero Arts Color Layering Octopus

Paper: CTMH White Daisy Cardstock and Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Cardstock

I love making ocean cards because I have lived most of my life in Florida. The watercolor background I used the with wet on wet technique on watercolor paper. I wet the paper and used watercolors paint to dab randomly on the paper. I used Speckled Egg Oxide Ink and then embossed the School of Fish with clear sparkle embossing powder. I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color the shells. I added shimmer brush to the shells.

First I stamped the card with Sapphire ink and then colored the sea life with the pencils. I then embossed the card with gold embossing powder.  It was fun to color in all the sea life and I love the vivid colors.
